
From a cocktail party team to a leading full-service caterer.
What began as Cocktail Party Team, founded by Tom Jongen in 1986, evolved into Select Catering. We managed events for clients such as Endemol and Delta Lloyd for many years, until the name no longer reflected the scope of our services and Select Catering was established as a full-service caterer.


In 1990, Spirit Hospitality Services was founded to support the growth of Select Catering. Spirit now employs more than 675 professionals and serves as a partner for hospitality, quality, and a professional image for a wide range of companies.

In 2012, the Summum Lounge opened at the Private Jet Center at Schiphol, a collaboration between Select Catering, Spirit Hospitality, and restaurant De Bokkedoorns. An exclusive meeting and event location where hospitality and anonymity are paramount.




Since the opening of the Eye Filmmuseum in 2012, we have served as the exclusive caterer, providing culinary services for a wide range of events, from meetings and conferences to dinners, with dedication and craftsmanship.
Since February 1, 2020, Charles Hollenkamp (known for Dauphine, Café Restaurant Amsterdam, and de Plantage) and Select Catering have joined forces to collaborate on the hospitality and catering activities within the museum.





Since January 1, 2024, we have been proud to operate as the exclusive caterer at the Louwman Museum in The Hague. Under the name Select Grand Café, we provide everything from daily hospitality services to luxury dinners.
In 2026, we will proudly celebrate our 40th anniversary. We look forward to the next 40 years!
